Trunk-or-Treat

This day was my aunt's 65th birthday which was celebrated at my aunt Bertha's house. Betty had invited us to go Trunk-or-Treat that day at her Ward. We took a little break from the party and went to get some candy. Ilan wasn't very happy with his costume, the head piece didn't fit quite well, he was uncomfortable and wanted it off.
Este dia fuimos al cumpleanos de mi tia Angelita en la casa de mi tia Bertha. Betty nos invito a su iglesia porque tenian un Trunk-or-Treat ques empezaba a las 6 pm. Nos dimos una escapadita de la fiesta y nos fuimos a pedir dulces. Ilan no estaba muy contento con su disfraz, parece que el gorro no le quedaba comodo y se lo queria quitar.This is my nephew Alan with his Star Wars contume.

Betty decorated her trunk with spider webs and was giving away glow sticks and candy.
Aqui estan todos enfrente del trunk que Betty decoro para que los ninos vengan a pedir dulces.

We were tired of waiting for the activity to start. They said it would start at 6, but since it was still bright out, they didn't start until 7pm. Caleb and I were hungry cause it was past our dinner time.
Caleb y yo, un poco cansados de esperar que empiecen a dar dulces y con hambre porque ya se nos paso la hora de la cena.
Once they started passing candy, Ilan was more interested in running around, opening car doors (trying at least), and touching car tires, gross! I was glad Caleb was there to help me chase our kid because with my growing belly sometimes I get too tired.
Una vez que ya empezaron a dar los dulces en cada carro, Ilan no estaba muy interesado en ir de carro en carro a colectar dulces. El corria para las purtas de los carros y los queria habrir, tambien le daba por tocar las llantas y correr por todos lados. Que bueno que Caleb fue para que me ayudara a perseguirlo porque con la pansa que cada dia me crece mas se me hace dificil andar detras de Ilan.

Aqui se intereso un poco en lo que estaban dando.Once we got tired of stopping him from doing everything else except for Trunk-or-treating he trew a temper tantrum and we knew it was time to go.
Cuando no lo dejamos que anduviera tocando llantas y las puertas de los carros, empezo con sus berinches. Porque no eres un nino normal Ilan?

This was a week before halloween, it was good practice for Ilan, he would be prepared for the real thing the following week. We then went back to my aunt's birthday party.
Esto paso una semana antes de halloween, definitivamente fue bueno ir porque le sirvio como practica para cuando fueramos de casa en casa en vez de carro en carro. Despues de aqui nos fuimos a la fiesta de cumpleanos.
